英国と日本は、日本から英国に 860 億ポンドの投資が行われており活発で持続的な貿易関係を築いています。政府の『Plan for Change（変革のための計画）』として、『MUSUBI イニシアチブ』や『2025 年大阪・関西万博』などのプロジェクトは、主要な経済パートナーとの関係を強化し、ビジネスと人と人の繋がりに新たな機会を創出します。

The UK Government is proud to announce the successful conclusion of its participation in Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, with the UK Pavilion standing as a powerful symbol of sustainability, innovation, and enduring UK-Japan collaboration. More than a showcase, the UK Pavilion was a demonstration of the UK’s commitment to sustainable development and circular design. Built with a modular structure, the Pavilion was designed from the outset to be reused, not discarded. As Expo 2025 closes, the Pavilion’s structure will live on – redeployed for future use rather than becoming waste. This MUSUBI programme, led by Odgers Berndtson and Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc., supports emerging female leaders in Japan and the UK through mentorship by senior executives. Aimed at addressing gender imbalance in leadership and strengthening UK-Japan ties, it empowers women at Director level and above to reach C-suite or Board roles with guidance from mentors committed to women’s advancement and cross-cultural collaboration.
