British Embassy Tokyo and Japan hosted a joint Women’s Economic Empowerment event at the UK Expo Pavillion on 8 August 2025. This focussed on strengthening relationships between female exporters in Japan and the UK and was the first in-person event the UK and Japan ran under the Women’s Economic Empowerment chapter in the UK-Japan Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement. We hope that this event will be the first of many MUSUBI activities investing in female leaders of the future.
