SSE Pacifico Launches “SSE Pacifico Offshore Wind Scholarship Programme” Summer School to be held at the University of Edinburgh in 2026 – Applications Open
30 March 2026

This programme is organised by SSE Pacifico, a developer advancing offshore wind projects in Japan, with the objective of fostering globally minded next-generation leaders who can contribute to the realisation of a sustainable society. It offers an approximately two-week summer school in Scotland, where SSE Group is headquartered.
Participants will experience the forefront of renewable energy through site visits to operational offshore wind farms in Scotland—a leading region for the industry—and by attending STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) focused classes at our partner institution, the University of Edinburgh. By strengthening UK-Japan relations and providing exposure to diverse values, this aims to support the emergence of new leaders capable of solving social challenges.
