大阪・関西万博の英国パビリオンにて「女性の経済的エンパワーメントイベント」を開催

On 8 August 2025, the UK and Japan co-hosted a Women’s Economic Empowerment Event (WEE), bringing together Japanese and UK female business owners and entrepreneurs interested in expanding their businesses between the two countries.

A speed mentoring session provided tailored career support, and session speakers were chosen to showcase women across different sectors and levels of seniority.

The event was open to public registration and 120 people registered.

Women in leadership is a main theme of the MUSUBI Initiative, aiming to advance gender equality and unlocking untapped economic potential.
