Founded in 1891, The Japan Society of the UK is the leading independent organization dedicated to strengthening the relationship between Britain and Japan. Headquartered in London, the Society promotes mutual understanding through a wide range of cultural, educational, and business programs, including lectures, exhibitions, school visits, and grassroots grants.

With over 1,000 individual and corporate members, it serves as a vital forum for dialogue and exchange, and acts as the Secretariat for the British-Japanese Parliamentary Group and the UK-Japan 21st Century Group.
