2023年5月G7広島サミットにて、英国のリシ・スナク首相(当時)と日本の岸田文雄首相(当時)が、新たにグローバルな戦略的パートナーシップ「広島アコード」に合意しました。

The Hiroshima Accord renews UK-Japan people-to-people links by committing to expanded cultural, educational, and scientific collaboration.

It supports increased academic exchange, language learning, and joint research initiatives, particularly in areas like climate science and health.

This set the stage for the MUSUBI initiative.
